The Beta Peptide Foundation was established in 1997 to develop, manufacture and market skin care products containing Beta Alistine™ as the main active agent.

Beta Alistine™ is an exciting and significant discovery by famous CSIRO scientist Dr Robin Holliday, who with his team demonstrated for the first time that Beta Alistine™ restores the youthful appearance of aged human skin cells in tissue culture.

The discovery of Beta Alistine's many protective and restorative properties make it an important agent for improving the quality of skin care.

Patents applied for by CSIRO & Peptech Ltd protect these discoveries, which have been licensed to the Beta Peptide Foundation Pty Ltd.

In another significant Australian breakthrough, Scientists have demonstrated that a natural milk protein complex stimulates the production of human skin collagen as well as improving overall skin function. In laboratory tests, topical application of the protein complex - MPF-1 - boosted collagen in aged human skin cells by 500%.
The remarkable properties of MPF-1 were discovered by researchers from the Co-Operative Research Centre for Tissue Growth and Repair in Adelaide, Australia, and patented by TGR BioSciences Pty Ltd. Beta Peptide Foundation Pty Ltd holds the exclusive licensing rights worldwide.
